![]() They broke it when they removed it, plugged my car and replenished the oil. They let me know that the drain cap was stripped. When I realized I was leaking oil, I went to the Valvoline located at ******************************, in ******** ** as that was the closest location to where I was when I realized there was a problem. I drove over 300 miles and passively leaked oil the entire way to ******** ********. ![]() They stripped my drain cap when they were trying to take it off and neglected to document the action. Either way, I will never go back to them after their level of ineptitude and lack of accountability. Obviously, whoever did the service at Valvoline added way too much oil, whether by mistake or nefariously. That Id have to talk to ****, so I left and waited once again for **** to get back to me.When **** got back to me he told me there is nothing he could do because we didnt bring the car back to Valvoline immediately for their staff to observe it, ironically stating how can they trust another mechanics work. He said he couldnt credit me for the service or the mechanic fee. **** assured me they dont do any shoddy work and they even have cameras for them to go back to review. I actually spoke to **** again and we got disconnected and he didnt call me back, so I went back to the Valvoline center again. Im not sure how Valvoline could possibly make this mistake, so I contacted them again on Thursday, May 11th, as I had not heard from **** yet. He said Id need to talk to ****, the Manager, so I gave him my info and he said Id hear back from **** when he was in again.Meanwhile, I had my son take the car directly across the street from his moms home and had a trustworthy shop look it over and plug in to the computer to see if any codes were coming up.Turns out the auto shop had to pull out 4 quarts excess oil to get the oil level to function correctly. I called Valvoline the next day, May 7th, and notified the Assist Manager, ****, of the problem.
